Had a few gremlins early in the night that we got on top of. Got the car rolling nice in the feature running third majority of the race, even started to reel in the leaders at one point but unfortunately the motor shut down with 6 laps to go. Doesn’t look to be anything major at this stage but we will get it back to the shed and investigate this week.

Zoe moved forward in her first heat.
Had a big bike in the second heat & nearly went for a tumble while running in the top 5 & sustained some rear end damage which resulted in a dnf.
Stared 10th in the feature, finished 7th & had some good hard racing along the way!

Not the start to the International Midget Series we were hoping for!
After firing up the car successfully this morning Zoe lost brakes in engine starts & the team were never able to get them back despite a huge effort & almost the entire brake system replaced! The team didn’t feel comfortable sending Zoe out there without brakes & with no B main scheduled that was our night over!
We will try to remain positive, get the car rectified & head to Bay Park on the 28th.

Managed to cut some good laps in the semi main running the top groove but unfortunately the battery lead came off which ended our night!
So thankful for the opportunity to come run the International Midget Series just disappointed I couldn’t get some better results for the team.

Had a great car in the feature, was dicing for the lead early then after a restart the car biked and I lost a bit of confidence and faded back to 4th. Disappointed for our team as we had a car good enough for at least a podium result but that’s the way it goes sometimes. We’ll come back and try again.

Not the night we were hoping for. Had another nasty flip in our second heat. The team worked hard to get the car back out in time for the feature. Felt good just to get back out there and cut some decent laps running inside the top 10. Decided to park it on a late race restart as the motor didn’t feel 100%.
Pretty sore after that one but we’ll regroup, rebuild and go again next season!
